Elder Almir Marroni was born in Brazil to a third-generation Adventist family. After finishing his studies in Theology at Brazil Adventist University he has served the church for more than 35 years, 30 of which as Publishing Department director at conference, union, division levels and now at the General Conference. Prior coming to the General Conference he served as South American Division vice president for four years. His passion is inspiring young people to accept God’s call to mission. Almir is married to Wiliane and they have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandsons.
Doctor Brad Kemp has served the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific as minister, area supervisor, family ministries director, General Secretary and communication director for the Papua New Guinea Union Mission, Leadership and Pacific Resources Director, Institute of World Mission Director and Associate General Secretary for the South Pacific Division and President of the New Zealand Pacific Union Conference. Today he serves as the CEO of Adventist Media, a position he has held since August 2018. His vision for the church is to see it fulfil its missionary purpose by sharing the gospel in a loving and empowering way. Brad has gained a Bachelor of Religion degree with Avondale College, Master of Arts in Religion degree with Andrews University and a Doctor of Ministry degree with Fuller Theological Seminary. He is married to Coralee, and they live on the Central Coast. They have two children and three grandchildren.
Brenton Lowe has served in Literature Ministry for over twenty years, beginning as a full-time Literature Evangelist (LE) in 2001. For many years, Brenton had the highest sales in the South Pacific Division, delivering over $10,000 worth of Adventist books and media into homes every month. In 2009, he became the Literature Ministry Leader in the Western Australian Conference, mentoring a successful LE team. In 2019, he commenced as the Adventist Media Literature Ministry Coordinator for Australia and New Zealand. His vision is to see a thriving movement of church members, young people, and a successful LE team empowered to share the Good News. Brenton enjoys partnering with local Conferences and innovators to fulfill God’s ordained purpose through Literature Evangelism. He is married to Sandi, and they live in Cooranbong with their three children.
Sylvia is a pastor currently serving as Women’s Ministries Director, and overseeing Seeds of Faith and The Worship Project for the Australian Union Conference. She’s passionate about authentic relationships and creating safe spaces where connection and stories can be shared. She loves God and having experienced His transforming grace in her life is inspired to see this reality in the lives of others. When she isn’t with people, you will find her writing or reading.
Pastor Nicu Dumbrava is the Personal Ministries Director for the Australian Union Conference. Nicu has been married to Grace for over 28 years and they have two beautiful children: Roberta and Dominick. Together they have sought to impact the world for better staring their journey into ministry in 1997 when they moved to Australia. After his graduation from Avondale College in 2001, Nicu served 8 years as the pastor in the South NSW Conference and 12 years as a senior pastor and Personal Ministries Director in the WA Conference. He is convinced that if the church today is connected by the power of the Holy Spirit and is feeding on the Word of God it can have the same impact that the early church had.
Jinha Kim is the pastor of Melbourne City Adventist Church, a church company that she and her husband Roy planted in 2014. For the past 10 years, they have been ministering to young professionals in Melbourne, many of whom have secular backgrounds. With degrees from Princeton University and Andrews University, Jinha’s faith is intelligent as well as heart-felt and experiential. She is the author of Truths to Live By, a sharing book, inviting the reader on a 30-day journey to delve into what really matters for a life that matters. In addition to serving her diverse community as a pastor, she is also the mother of two school-aged boys.
Sandra Entermann is more than just a familiar face in the Adventist music scene. Her day-job for the last 30 years is in her brother’s glass business, being awarded by the industry as the world’s first female certified glazier. She enjoys repairing broken windows but thrives on helping mend broken lives. Sandra speaks one language, has no formal tertiary education, dropped out of piano lessons after just 3 years - and wishes she didn’t! But Sandra knows the power of music ministry and counts it a privilege to have travelled widely, accepting invitations to sing in the Islands of the South Pacific, New Zealand, Asia, the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, and the West Indies. Whilst she is still producing albums, her approach is more relaxed these days with her Friday night Sabbath Singalong, a weekly Facebook LIVE she delivers with family and friends. Her desire through her music ministry is to lift up Jesus, while lifting broken people up to Him – sharing the songs of her own experience, and proclaiming a God who is attentive, accessible, and all powerful.

The afternoon program is at Nunawading Church at 3pm. Hear testimonies from young people from across Australia and New Zealand who have participated in 2-3 week “Youth Rush” campaigns.
